Media Skills Training

Camera shy? Unsure of how to present your message on the broadcast media?

Unsure of what the message should even be?

At Redsocks, we can offer you one of the most respected media training packages on the island of Ireland.

The one-day course demystifies the work of the broadcasters, tells you how to look and what to wear, and how to deal with those tricky questions that every interviewee dreads. It includes the chance to do up to three interviews under authentic conditions, depending on how many participants are taking part.

It's held in a real radio studio at Citybeat 96.7, which has added television facilities, so you can actually see the programmes being put together.

The course is hosted by our own Mike Philpott and Ray Hayden, formerly Business Correspondent with UTV. Like Mike, Ray has 30 years’ experience in newspapers, radio and television, and now runs his own TV production company. The two have a long list of satisfied customers, including many in the public and voluntary sectors.

Aside from making you more confident when dealing with broadcasters, what you learn on the course is useful in other situations where you need good communication skills. Contact us for prices, and for a package tailor made to suit your organisation.
